Learning the violin has been a life-long goal and one that I put off for close to 40 years. Madeleine asked very poignant & important questions as to my reasons why I wanted to learn the violin. That spoke volumes, letting me know she cares. That kind of caring is an essential characteristic in an instructor. She teaches in the Suzuki tradition, which as a non-traditional student who hasn’t read music for decades, is a great way to learn. Her instruction has been a perfect combination of support, challenge, and encouragement! I highly, highly recommend her!
