Guitar Lessons
Guitar is one of the most versatile and social instruments available to new musicians. Whether you’re building your skills as a songwriter, looking to join a band, or just playing for your own enjoyment, private-guitar lessons will offer you the tools and accountability needed to take your playing to the next level:
Learn scales, chords, & your favorite songs
Develop skills for lead and rhythm guitar
Fretboard fluency and the CAGED system
Finger & wrist exercises
Picking patterns & songwriting
Timing & internal pulse
Music theory & ear training
-
Students age 5 and up can begin private guitar lessons.

You don’t need a guitar to take an intro lesson but it is recommended. If you’re wondering what size of guitar to get for your child, the Denver Folklore Center is an excellent local shop that can size you in-store. They have a great selection and rental program which is perfect for young children who are still growing.

After your introductory lesson, tuition for weekly lessons is billed monthly as follows:
30-Minute Lessons - $168
45-Minute Lessons - $252
60-Minute Lessons - $336
For more information regarding tuition, billing, and our lesson calendar, please reference the “Tuition and Payments” section of our lesson policies.

No credits or refunds will be offered for student absences. Teachers are not obligated to reschedule or offer make-up lessons due to student absence. In the event that your student is sick but has the energy to take a lesson, we ask that you reach out to set up a virtual lesson in lieu of meeting in-person. If you know of a conflict ahead of time, get in touch with your private teacher as early as possible, and stay in contact for additional practice ideas and assignments.
