Drum Lessons

A young man with dark curly hair, wearing a white t-shirt and jeans, sitting in a room with wooden walls, playing a small drum with drumsticks. He is taking drum lessons in Denver.

Rhythm is the foundation of all musical art forms, and in our drum lessons we seek to foster mastery of the craft, one building block at a time. With a focus on exceptional technique and the know-how to turn rudimentary exercises into actual creativity and freedom at the kit, we’re ready to help you unlock your best playing. Sign up for an intro today to explore:

  • 1-on-1 technical and theory instruction

  • Foundational rudiments and their practical applications on the drum kit

  • Four-way limb independence

  • Timing & internal pulse

  • Grooves from jazz to Afro-Cuban to metal

  • Improvisation & flow

  • Development of hand and foot speed

  • Playing with other musicians and supporting a band

  • We start drum lessons for children as young as 5. At this age they are big enough to sit at a small drum kit without much difficulty, if any.

  • No, they do not. You don’t even need a pair of sticks for an intro lesson. Once they’re hooked you can break the bank!

  • After your introductory lesson, tuition for weekly lessons is billed monthly as follows:

    30-Minute Lessons - $168

    45-Minute Lessons - $252

    60-Minute Lessons - $336

For more information regarding tuition, billing, and our lesson calendar, please reference the “Tuition and Payments” section of our lesson policies.

  • No credits or refunds will be offered for student absences. Teachers are not obligated to reschedule or offer make-up lessons due to student absence. In the event that your student is sick but has the energy to take a lesson, we ask that you reach out to set up a virtual lesson in lieu of meeting in-person. If you know of a conflict ahead of time, get in touch with your private teacher as early as possible, and stay in contact for additional practice ideas and assignments.
